- We’ll make our first stop just outside the park at Hengchun, an endearing little town which – unlike any other in Taiwan – still has all of its original city gates and much of the defensive wall that kept it safe during the turbulent past.
- Proceeding southeast, we’ll skirt the main beaches, pausing at popular locations such as Chuanfan Rock, the dazzling seashore at Shadao, and Eluanbi Park. The lighthouse here has been helping ships avoid the area’s coral reefs for over 130 years, and from it it’s a short walk to Taiwan’s southernmost point.
